I was lucky to stay over in historical Radisson Blu Carlton Bratislava hotel. The history of Slovak most famous hotel reach back to 13th century when on the site of today’s hotel stood a much smaller hotel named The Swan.
The Carlton-Savoy
In 1912, new hotel complex was created and named The Carlton-Savoy. For several decades the hotel was among the finest in Europe. Hotel’s guest book include names of Thomas Alva Edison, Alfred Nobel and Theodore Roosevelt.
In case you are travelling around, I recommend to take this one night and stay in the hotel with such a history. Hereby is good site about the history.
A wonderful bar in a classic library style
The Mirror bar represents the rich history of Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel Bratislava. I enjoyed couple of signature cocktails in the Mirror Bar and strongly recommend you to taste. Feelings, atmosphere and the possibility to see how your cocktail will be prepared is worth every minut you spend in The Mirror Bar.
